Making Mississippi Proud is what the top two American Idol Finalists are doing and have done this final season of the American Idol.
LaPorsha Renae, known through out this final season for her “big hair and big voice”, is from McComb, MS. LaPorsha is a 22 year old call centre representative. Trent Harmon is a 25 year old waiter from Amory, MS.
After 15 seasons, American Idol is calling it quits or are they? Many reports read that American Idol will not be back due to falling ratings. Other reports read that some previous winners never cut an album. According to other news reports, at least one judge stated they would be back. So even if Idol does or if Idol does not… one thing is for sure Trent and LaPorsha have made this season very memorable and made Mississippi very proud. Congratulations to you both!!
The winner will be announced Thursday night, April 7th beginning at 7pm on Fox 40 Channel.
