MageeNews.com was presented the Lighthouse Award from the American Cancer Society by Relay for Life committee member Mary Ann Jones in appreciation for promoting Relay for Life activities on their website.
Mary Ann explained that the media outlets in our area happen to be some of the best in the state! They give their support to Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society whole hardheartedly. This support is what gets our mission into the communities, builds events, and ultimately brings dollars to Relay for Life Events which directly impact our community.
Relay for Life will be held May 5, 2017 in downtown Magee. The Relay Committee is busy encouraging business, churches and individuals to participate in the cancer fundraiser.
