Magee Trojans HS Varsity Downs Booneville by a score of 6-3 Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Trustmark Park in Pearl.

Magee Trojans scored more runs than Booneville to clinched the win.

Pre game Coach Eubanks was presented the trophy for wining South State.

Brennon McNair received a plaque for being named the Scholar Athlete.

 

 

Magee got things moving in the first inning. Cayden Bridges was the first batter up to the plate and nailed a triple play. Next, Chandler Pittman grounded out, scoring one run. Magee would go on to score 5 runs in the top of the 1st inning.

Adam May toed the rubber for Trojans. The righty went seven innings, allowing three runs on five hits and striking out seven.

Hayden Donahue was on the mound for Booneville. The pitcher surrendered six runs on eight hits over five innings, striking out 11 and walking one. Kade White threw two innings in relief.

Magee racked up a total of nine hits on the evening. Jordan Magee, May, and Doc McLaurin all had multiple hits for the Trojans. Magee led Magee Trojans with three hits in four at bats.

The Trojans will be back in action Tuesday, June 3, 2021 against Booneville at 4:00 p.m. game time. The game will played at Trustmark park. The series of the best of 3 games.
