MAGEE TROJANS JV BASEBALL STAYS ON A ROLL

Brandon Lyons drove in four on three hits to lead the JV Trojans to a 19-2 win over the McLaurin Tigers on March 24th.   Brennon McNair would get the win for the Trojans on the mound pitching a complete game. The Trojans had a huge third inning, scoring 15 runs thanks to a walk by Etoya Traxler, a single by Javo Thurman, a walk by Josh Sanders, a single by Zack Teater, a single by Chandler Pittman, a single by Brandon Lyons, a walk by Brennon McNair, a single by Mason Curlee, a single by Thurman, a single by Sanders, a walk by Pittman and another single by Lyons.

Thurman, Lyons and Pittman each had multiple hits for the Trojans.

On March 28th, the JV Trojans would face the Raleigh Lions.   Mason Curlee, Javo Thurman and Thomas Smith would each have two hits and the Trojans would blank the Lions 6-0.   Brandon Lyons and Javo Thurman would combine for the shutout. Brennon McNair would lead the Trojans with 2 RBIs.   The Trojans JV squad continues to work hard and contribute to the success of the program.

The JV will be in action this Friday at home, 4:30 first pitch, when they face the Lions again.
