The Magee Trojan basketball team is taking aim at at the Big House (Ms Colosseum) following a dry 35 year period.
The Trojans defeated St Patrick 51-47 in a hard fought game which the Trojans intended to win—and did!
Jeremiah Cole led the team with 25 points. Kendal Middleton added 15 points.
Magee led in the first quarter 12-8; second quarter 25-24 but the 3rd quarter saw St Patrick take the led 34-28. The team decided to play “Magee ball” and never looked back. Magee won 51-47.
Magee is now the MAISAA Boys Class 3 A champs!
Magee takes on Coahoma County Monday night at the Mississippi Colosseum at 8:00 PM beginning the semi final rounds.
