PRESS RELEASE

 

On October 2, 2020 at approximately 9:46pm Magee Police Department received numerous reports of “shots fired” in the area of Park Place Apartments on Raleigh Drive. Officers arrived on scene and determined that two victims, three vehicles, and one of the apartment buildings had been struck by gunfire.

The victims were identified as Luciousano Traxler and Jalyn Lee. Both victims were taken to Magee General Hospital with Traxler being transferred to Forrest General Hospital. Both victims are recovering at home with non-life-threatening injuries.

The incident remains under investigation by the Magee Police Department.
