Magee JV Baseball team was successful Monday evening March 12, 2018 against Northeast Jones winning by a score of 11-9.
Trojans got things started off in the first inning when Brennon McNair singled scoring one run.
Trojans took a late lead and would not look back. Game was tied at four with Trojans battling in the top of the third. Jordan Magee would single on the first pitch, scoring three runs. Trojans would score three more to secure the win.
Zack Teater was the starting pitcher for the Trojans. Zack went two inning allowing four runs on two hits and striking out three.
Varsity Trojans did not have the successful night against Northeast Jones like the JV.
Trojans could not get the bats or pitching to work in their favor.
Magee would fall by a score of 13-1.
Magee varsity is back in action Tuesday in a tournament in Meridian.
