Lauren Grantham is the daughter of Randy and Renee Grantham and is currently Salutatorian for Magee High School Class of 2016. Lauren will graduate with a GPA of 4.0 and 100.55 and an ACT score of 27.
Lauren has been a student of Magee School since fourth grade.
Lauren is a member of the Magee High School All Superior Marching Band where she is not only a four-year color guard member, but also the first chair clarinet player.
She is currently involved in various school clubs such as Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Beta Club, Students Against Drunk Driving, and Bible Club. Lauren is also the current President of the National Honor Society, and an active student of the Superintendent’s Scholars.
Lauren has received several scholarships, which include W H McCarty Scholarship, Academic Scholarships, ACT Scholarship. She is a Mississippi Scholar and High Honor graduate.
In Laurens spare time she enjoys painting and reading.
Lauren’s future plans include attending Copiah Lincoln Community College and obtaining an Associates Degree followed by her Bachelors in Education from The University of Southern Mississippi.
