Magee Firefighters; Capt. Chris Tuggle, Capt. Tony Puckett, Lt. Phillip Magee, Lt. Shane Steele, and firefighter, Vance Hamilton received 8 hours of successful training in hydro-carbon industrial fuel fires, search and rescue, and extrication from the Instructors at Chevron Corp.’s Pascagoula Refinery Fire Department, where the instructors were reported to train world-wide.

Several volunteer and municipal fire departments attended the training program, some travelling from as far as Birmingham, AL.
The Chevron Refinery Fire Department was reported to be 1 of 5 departments in the nation to have a mobile unit which carries approximately 30,000 gallons of fire suppression foam.
