Magee Chamber Host School Bond Forum

The Magee Chamber of Commerce hosted a School Bond Forum Thursday, March 3, 2022 at the Civic Center in Magee. Lee Maddox is President of the Chamber.  A large crowd was present for the event.
Friends of Simpson County Schools sponsored the forum.  Five more forums will be held in the county.
Dr. Toriano Holloway shared a slide show of renderings of the new consolidated high school and the sports facilities.

Another slide show was presented showing where education is headed and how we need to provide for our children’s future.
The citizens  submitted  questions which were answered by the district lead team.
Please encourage citizens in the county to attend one of the forums.
The following forum dates have been confirmed:
  • March 7 – Simpson Central School Gym, 6 p.m.

  • March 8 – Mendenhall High School Gym, 6 p.m.

  • March 11 – Pinola High School Auditorium, 6 p.m.
