Magee High School Boys soccer team is presently sitting in 1st place for district after Thursday’s game against Crystal Springs. The boys bounced back after being down early 2-0. The Trojans roared back for a 10-4 win!
Magee is now 13-3-2 over all and 4-0 in district after Thursday’s match.
There is still a week of play left in regular season before playoff’s begin. Magee still has to face McLaurin, Pineywoods and North Forest to determined who wins district.
Magee Girls lost a heatbreaker against Crystal Springs. The girls were up by one goal with just a couple of minutes left in regulation when Crystal Springs scored to tie the game and send it in overtime.
Over time would consist of penalty kicks. Both teams would have 5 chances to score on kicks. Magee would fall short by one goal.
