Magee Board of Alderman met Tuesday, October 18, 2016.
Mayor Jimmy Clyde reminded everyone about the Health Walk and $25,000 check presentation Saturday, October 22, 2016 @ 12 noon from Blue Cross for being a healthy hometown.
Discussion was made to approve the building of a hanger by the plane owners at the airport for two planes.
Veterans Day Celebration will be November 10th with a parade starting at 10:15 and ceremony following. Pete Howell, Principal at Magee High School, will be the guest speaker.
Chief Randy Crawford asked the board to accept the resignation of Miressa Shows due to moving. The chief also asked the board approval for hiring Brandy Hannah full time to replace Miressa. Brandy is currently a part time dispatcher.
The board was asked to approve the resignation of Todd Stubbs from the Public Works Department due to a new job.
