Magee Belles 13-15yo Girls Win State Championship

DSC_1556 DSC_1548 DSC_1545Congratulations to the Magee Belles on their State Championship win Sunday, July 10th.  The Magee Belles also took home the Jessica Wood’s Sportsmanship Award.

They will advance to the World Series later in July in Louisiana.

Magee started the tournament by defeating Raleigh Friday night. Saturday morning Magee would face Natchez. Magee girls would come out of top and receive a buy into Sunday’s Championship game. It only took one game for Magee to defeat Natchez and become the Mississippi State Dixie Youth Belles Champions.

Magee would ten run each opponent they would face.  In good sportsmanship Magee would step off base to get an out to keep the score from getting out of control. Great job to the coaches on showing great sportsmanship.

Congratulations on the win and good luck at Nationals.
