Mable Ainsworth, 81, of Braxton, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at her residence in Braxton. She was born July 21, 1936 in Jackson. She was a retired bookkeeper at Broadhead Lumber Company for 32 years. She was a faithful member of Braxton United Methodist Church. Her passion was caring for her flowers and her beautiful yard. Mable was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Addie Ainsworth and her sister Hazel Evans.
She is survived by her sisters, Martha Thornton and Betty Compere, and her brother Oliver Ainsworth.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 12:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Burial will follow in Braxton City Cemetery. Bro. Don Patterson and Bro. Richard Rankin will Officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements (601)847-4401.
Pallbearers will be Trent Weeks, Sr., Trent Weeks, Jr., Mark Weeks, Drew Compere, Kevin Ainsworth, Kurt Ainsworth.
