Lynda Faye Winningham, 89 of Mendenhall, MS passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at her home in Mendenhall, MS. She was born Friday, February 17, 1933 in Jones County, Mississippi.

 Graveside services will be held Friday, April 1, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Mendenhall, MS. Bro. Ted Bowlin will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401

 Mrs. Winningham was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Mendenhall.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie B.  Winningham; daughter, Betty Jean Houchen; parents; brothers, Ray Wedgeworth, Glen Wedgeworth and L V Wedgeworth.

 Survivors include her grandson, Kirk Bush (Jeana) of Braxton, MS; brothers, Buck Wedgeworth (Mary), Harry Wedgeworth all of Jones County; sister, Patsy McLaurin of Jones County; son -in-law, John Houchen of Mendenhall, MS; sister-in-law, Sue Wedgeworth of Jones County; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members

 Pallbearers will be Kirk Bush, Paul Houchen, Kodi Houchen, and Kevin Miller.
