Linda Parish, a long-time resident of the Clem community, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 20, 1943, to the (late) W. J. Prince and Addie (Wade) Prince.
She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Magee and The Friendship Sunday School Class.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Parish and brother, Thomas Prince.
Linda is survived by her three daughters; Dawn Sommer (Michael), Gabriella Bond (Cole), LeeAnn Stewart (Colby); one brother, James E. Prince (Jennifer); four sisters, Frances McNair, Mae Buckley, Lucy Butler, Doris Martin; seven grandchildren, Brett Sommer, London Sommer Baum (Zachary), Kaitlin Bond, Adeline Bond, Anna Belle Stewart, Laurel Stewart and Eliott Stewart.
Visitation will be Monday, October, 3, 2016, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Services are scheduled for Tuesday, October 4, at First Baptist Church in Magee at 10:00 a.m. with an hour of visitation prior to the service. Rev. Buddy Keyes and Rev. Charles Burnham will officiate. Interment will follow in Hopewell Cemetery.
