(6/17/1964 – 11/8/2023)

            Linda Mae Cole, 59 of Mize, Mississippi passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at her residence. She was born Wednesday, June 17, 1964 in Morehead, Kentucky.

            Visitation will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023 from 10:00am until 12:00pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 113 Front Street, Taylorsville, Mississippi. Funeral services will follow at 12:00pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Mize, Mississippi. Bro. Brad Brownlee will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. 601-785-6564

            To know Linda, was to love her. She had a heart of gold and loved her family and friends dearly. Mawmaw Linda especially loved her grandkids. She enjoyed Saturdays watching college football with her family and watching wrestling on Mondays and Fridays, with Andrew. She was a faithful, hard worker and always diligent in her duties to her job and to her family. Linda will be missed by all her family and friends.

            She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Cole; father, Harlan Skaggs; brother, Michael Skaggs.

            Survivors include her son, Brandon Cole (Kelli); daughter, Heather Cole Pennington (Larry); step-daughter, Bethany Thompson; mother, Eva Mae Holbrook White; grandchildren, Dawson Pennington (Maria), Andrew Pennington, Adrian Pennington, Mae-Mae Cole, Harper Cole and Swayzie Cole; great grandchild, Zeppelin Pennington; sisters, Brenda Blakeney and Janet Skaggs; and a host of other family and friends.

            Pallbearers will be Brandon Cole, Larry Pennington, Mackenzie McGlone, Dawson Pennington, Adrian Pennington, Elbert Cole, Kevin Norris, and Jordan Kendrick.

            Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Pennington, Billy McGlone, Matthew McGlone, Justin Kendrick, and Drexel Roberts.
