Benny Gerald Smith passed away on November 8, 2023, at his home. He was born to Hiram Berry Smith and Erna Mae Jones Smith in Mendenhall, MS.
He enjoyed being outdoors and fishing on Phillips Lake. He loved inviting his friends and entertaining them.
He is survived by his two sons, Bo Smith (Lisa), Trent Smith; daughter, Shea Smith; five grandchildren, Lauren Crowe, Cady Swindle, Gracie Smith, Morgan Smith, and Seth Yetta.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hiram Berry and Erna Smith and brother, James Hiram Smith.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall, MS from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
