Brandon – Lillie Gwendolyn Windham, 95, died November 20, 2024, at Chateau Pines in Brandon.

A private family graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Fellowship Cemetery in Taylorsville, MS.

Mrs. Windham was born June 14, 1929 in Wellington, Texas. She grew up in Mobile, AL, where she met and later married her husband, Isaac Hancel Windham. Mr. and Mrs. Windham welcomed their daughter, Linda, in August of 1953, while Ike was in the Army at Fort Rucker, AL. Throughout Mr. Windham’s career with Chevron, they lived in Birmingham, AL; Louisville, KY; and Clayton, CA. Upon his retirement, the Windhams settled in Brandon, MS.

She was a loving and devoted housewife, mother, and grandmother. She treated everyone with love and kindness. Mrs. Windham loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Brandon First Methodist Church.

Mrs. Windham was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ike, and her brothers and sister.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Windham Mann; grandson, Andrew Mann (Brittany), and great-grandson, Wyndham (Wynn) Mann, all of Brandon, MS.

Memorials may be made to the Children’s Building Fund at Brandon Baptist Church at 100 Brandon Baptist Drive, Brandon, MS 39042.
