The America 250 Quiz Bowl, sponsored by the Magee Chamber of Commerce, brought together students for a fast-paced competition focused on historical knowledge and teamwork.
Nine teams participated in the event, competing head-to-head to answer a variety of history-related questions. The competition was divided into separate rounds for younger and older student groups.
In the younger division, Rocket Learning claimed first place, followed by Spire in second and the Jones group in third.
In the older division, the McCoy girls team earned first place honors. Rocket Learning finished in second place, and Simpson Academy placed third.
Organizers expressed appreciation to the parents, teachers, and schools who supported student participation, helping make the event a success and promoting a greater appreciation for the nation’s history.
