Yes, Isaiah, one of the prophets of old, was instructed by God to deliver these Words of solace to His chosen people. If we trust and obey while in this life, we’ll enter into peace and rest when our mortal lives cease. We’ll rest; then, when Jesus returns in the air in clouds of glory, we’ll rise up to meet Him, and so shall we ever be with the Lord. In the meantime, let us strive to walk uprightly and to follow God’s precepts.
