Lester Eugene Ivy Jr., 39, of Mabelvale, Arkansas, passed from this life to his heavenly home, Wednesday, May 1, 2019, in Texarkana, Texas. He was born Saturday, July 14, 1979.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee in Magee, Mississippi.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, May 5, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee in Magee, Mississippi. Bro. Lonnie Gale Wood will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

Lester Ivy was a member of New Sardis Baptist Church.  He graduated from Mize High School and was a member of the 1995 State Championship football team.  He then graduated from Jones County Junior College, where he was a member of the 1998 undefeated National Junior College championship football team.  He worked as a lineman for MC Dean.  He enjoyed to hunt and fish.  The joy of his life was his family and his friends.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, W.B. & Nita Ivy and Albert & Mildred Tuggle.

Survivors include his wife of five years LaDonna Ivy, his children, Allison Ivy, Tanner Vise, and Macy Vise his parents Lester & Beverly Ivy, his siblings Leslie Cotton, Lance Ivy.
