Lena worked at Magnatek also known as the Universal for many years. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them especially her grand and great-grands.
She is survived by sons, David Atkins (Mary), Billy Atkins (Renee); daughter, Patricia Weathersby; brother, Caroll Ray Stewart; seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Wedgeworth.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 19, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church in Mendenhall. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
