Lavada Rae Austin, 73, of Brandon, Mississippi, passed away Thursday, June 20th 2019 at Brandon Nursing and Rehab Center in Brandon. She was born Tuesday, August 7, 1945.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee.
Graveside Services will be held Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Presbyterian Cemetery. Bro. Hilton Austin will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton Lindsey and Christine Howell; sister, Melba Smith; brother, Pete Lindsey.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Austin; daughters, Tina Elliott (Charles) and Melissa Miller (Scott); son, Jack Austin (Donna); five grandchildren; two great- grandchildren; brother, Dan Jones; sister, Kathy Chisholm.
