Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum Foundation Hosts Lane of Lanterns Benefit Dinner
JACKSON, Miss. – The Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum Foundation is hosting the Lane of Lanterns Farm to Table Fundraiser Dinner on Thursday, April 25 at 6 p.m. on Main Street of Small Town, Mississippi, the 1920s-era small town located on the grounds of the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum.
While being in a relaxing ambience, guests can expect an array of great tastes from Iron Horse Grill’s refreshing beverages and hors d’oeuvres during the 6 o’clock hour. Following this hour, at 7:00 p.m., dinner will be served in the form of mouth-watering edibles from Mississippi’s finest, Chef Nick Wallace. The stage will be set for an exclusive, fun night out. Guests can expect opportunities to view blacksmithing demonstrations, tour model train exhibits, and explore ongoing renovations of the Children’s Barn and other buildings being reconstructed after a devastating fire in 2014. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness and gain financial support of the Museum’s ongoing efforts for significant improvements of artifacts, exhibits, and facilities. Business casual dress is suggested.
In the event of unfavorable weather, accommodations will be arranged for the event to be moved to an interior location on the Museum grounds.
