MAGEE, MS – MARCH 1, 2016
Lacye Evans of Alfa Insurance has earned the Financial Services Certified Professional™ (FSCP™) designation from The American College of Financial Services, located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. The FSCP™ program provides product and skills training as the foundation for career-long learning and helps advisors and agents succeed in their careers.
Candidates for the FSCP™ designation must complete a designation exam as well as a series of individual course or module exams to earn the right to use this prestigious mark. Designees must also agree to continuing education and ethics requirements. Candidates learn a wide range of topics, with curriculum addressing such concepts as product solutions, ethics and practice standards, available government programs, retirement planning, practice management, financial and estate planning, family planning, divorce planning, long term care, business insurance, healthcare, social media management and so much more.
Students completing the FSCP™ designation are better equipped to help their clients navigate the intricacies of insurance and financial planning. They are better prepared to offer practical solutions and guidance for the challenges consumers may encounter.
To earn the FSCP™ designation, candidates must complete 10 educational units and also complete The Ethical Advisor with exams, the certification course, and the final designation exam. Designees must also abide by The American College’s Code of Ethics and take 3 hours of approved ethics-related CE every 2 years.
Lacye began her career in the insurance business in 2009 after her graduation from The University of Southern Mississippi where she majored in Risk Management. In July of 2014, Lacye came on board with Alfa Insurance where she currently operates her place of business in downtown Magee as The Lacye Evans Agency. Her agency offers a wide range of products, specializing in the insurance lines of life, auto, home, and business. In June of 2015, Lacye earned her Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF™) designation through The American College. Lacye resides here in Magee with her husband Adam and their 4-year-old son Anderson.
The American College of Financial Services is the nation’s largest non-profit educational institution devoted to financial services. Holding the highest level of academic accreditation, The College has served as a valued business partner to banks, brokerage firms, insurance companies and others for over 86 years. The American College’s faculty represents some of the financial services industry’s foremost thought leaders.
