Kathy Rutland, 55, of Mount Olive, passed from this life Saturday November 21, 2015 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Bro. Dewitt Bain and Bro. Bryson Haden will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements, (601)849-5031.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee.
She is survived by: Husband – Bobby Rutland of Mount Olive; Sons – Ross Rutland (Becky) and Jessie Rutland of Mount Olive; Daughter – Angelia N Thoms (John) of New Iberia, LA, Grand Children – Myles Rutland of Mount Olive ,and Daniel Thoms, New Iberia, LA; Father – Willis Dixon of Magee, Brother – Chris Dixon of Magee; Sister – Pamela McWilliams (Donny) of Magee; Stepchildren – Ty Rutland of Mount Olive and Jeannie Turbyfill of Athens, TX; Nieces – Mellie Rutland and children of Mount Olive; Amanda Rutland of Magee; Nephews – C.J. Dixon of Magee and Matthew Dixon of Collins; Brother-in-laws – James C Rutland of Collins, Richard Rutland of Collins, and David Rutland of Collins; Sister-in-law – Doris Puckett of Collins; and her pet dog Maye.
She is preceded in death by: Mother – Frankie Mae Hall; Brother – Danial Hall, Stepbrothers – Stevie Hall, and Billy Jack Hall.
