 Kathy Pourteau, 68 of Magee, MS passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025 at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Magee, MS. She was born Thursday, August 16, 1956 in Magee, Mississippi.

 Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee.  Burial will follow in Rock Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Mt. Olive, MS. Bro. Gary Meadows and Bro. Jesse Swilley will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

 She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Pourteau; mother, Geneva Jones Ainsworth; brother, Freddie Butler.

 Survivors include her son, Christopher  Pourteau (Misty) of Magee, MS;  daughter, Misty  Chisholm  (Brad) of Mendenhall, MS;  grandchildren, Graceland  Brown, Marilyn Corley, Mason  Corley, Marcus  Herrington and Saphira Troney;  brother, Bobby  Butler;  sisters, Kay  Warren  (Jimmy) of Magee, MS and Lisa Hosey (Obie) of Richland, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Warren, Brad Chisholm, Devin Barnes, Chris Holway, CJ Schmidt, and Scotty McMahan.

Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Patterson, Brendon Franklin, and Lawson Warren.
