Katherine Williams, 93, of Mize, Mississippi, passed away Monday July 29, 2019 at Magee General Hospital. She was born Friday, April 23, 1926.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the New Sardis Baptist Church in Mt. Olive.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM at New Sardis Baptist Church in Mt. Olive. The Burial will follow in New Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. David McCord will officiate. Special music will be provided by Dianna Hosey. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Williams; son, Larry Wayne Sasser; Parents, Harve and Katie West; sister, Ethel Turnage; brothers, N.C. West, Lee West, and Woodrow West.

Survivors include her daughters,  Sandra Amason, Patricia Jennings (Charles), Becky Yelverton (Rod); son, Ronnie Sasser (Pennie); grandchildren, Michele Parker (Brett), Kevin Amason (Krista), Renee Kellum (Dong), Kimberly Layton (David), Ryan Yelverton (Christy), Whitney Sasser, Cassidy Berry (Wes) Jacob Mullins (Jamie), Luke Mullins (Michele), and Jeff Jennings (Ashley);  eight great-grandchildren; sister, Nell White; a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Yelverton, Cody Bairfield, Cooper Kellum, Kevin Amason, Trevor Amason, and Trenton Amason.  Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Jennings, David Layton, and Rod Yelverton
