The absentee in-person voting deadline is Saturday, August 3, 2019. Circuit Clerk’s Offices will be open from 8-12 on Saturday. The deadline to vote by mail is Monday, August 5, 2019, and the clerk’s office must have the actual absentee ballot by 5 PM that day.
Absentee voting makes a difference…don’t ever think it doesn’t! I was present for an election that at the end of the regular vote counting one person was winning…but after counting absentee ballots the winner changed! Your vote counts.
If your child is 18 or older, be sure they are register…and that they vote!
