Tuesday, March 7, 2017 is not a date Kamilla Cowart will soon forget! On this day, Kamilla became a United States Citizen!
Kamilla has lived in the US for 19 years. She was born in Rio de Janeiro and is the wife of Magee’s own Ian Cowart. Ian and Kamilla live in Magee.
Kamilla and her family traveled to New Orleans on Tuesday to complete the final test of her citizenship. Once she passed, she was sworn in as a US Citizen.!
Congratulations, Kamilla…you just made the USA a “whole lot” better!
