At the December 3, 2019 Board of Aldermen meeting, Police Chief Randy Crawford reported that a situation exists in the City of Magee concerning juveniles who are throwing rocks at people and vehicles. The police department is well aware of the crime and have posted additional policemen on the streets as a measure to end this situation. Several victims of the crime have been senior citizens.
Catching the juveniles has proven to be difficult.
Chief Crawford reminded everyone to be aware of their surroundings and to be extra careful during the holiday season.
