Julia Elizabeth Jones(September 23, 1934 – August 29, 2018 ) Julia Elizabeth Jones, 83, of Mendenhall, Mississippi, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at her home in Mendenhall, Mississippi. She was born Sunday, September 23, 1934 in Magee. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee in Magee. The Burial will follow in Old Good Hope Primative Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Joe Metts will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031. She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Jones; parents, XV Kennedy and Alene Kennedy; sister, Bobbie Runnels (Fred). Survivors include her daughters, Ann Bray of Pearl, Lynn Upton (Kenny) of Byram, Vickey Roberson (Mike) of Brandon ,Carol Gray (Jerry) of Mendenhall and her furry pet Ms Lucy; sister, Charline Basher (Armand) of Rockwell, Texas; 6 grandchildren, 8 great- grandchildren and one on the way; several special friends and nieces and nephews.
