  Joyce Marie Stevens, 82 of Mendenhall, MS passed away Monday, August 28, 2023 at the Bedford Care Center in Mendenhall, Mississippi. She was born Friday, November 15, 1940 in Goose Creek, Texas.

   Visitation will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall, 3077 Simpson Hwy 13, Mendenhall, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 01, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Burial will follow in County Line Baptist Church Cemetery in Mendenhall, Mississippi. Bro. Mickey Ferguson will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401

   She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Donie McCarey; sister, Shirley McCarey Young.

   Survivors include her husband, Harold Stevens; son, Scott Stevens  (JinPing);  daughter, Laura Brooks (Keith) of Mendenhall, MS;  grandchildren, Wes  Waltman  (Rhea), Hunter  Brooks, Abbey  Minton  (Austin) and Noah  Stevens;  great grandchildren, Greyson  Minton and McCarey  Minton.

  Pallbearers will be Scott Stevens, Keith Brooks, Wes Waltman, Hunter Brooks, Austin Minton, and Greg Stevens.

Honorary pallbearers will be Noah Stevens.
