Gayla Sue Bruce, 60 of Mize, Mississippi passed from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at her residence. She was born Wednesday, January 9, 1963 in Magee, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 302 Eight Ave SW, Magee, Mississippi. A Private Service will be held by the family at a later date. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements 601-849-5031

Mrs. Gayla was very passionate and kind. She loved fiercely, especially her family, her grandbabies, and her dog Boogie. She knew the value of a hard day’s work and hardly ever missed a day. She was a free spirit and loved music, dancing, and enjoying life. Mrs. Gayla will be dearly missed by all her family, friends, and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her father, Randall Ainsworth.

Survivors include her sons, Joey Gable (Amber) and Joshua Bruce (Darrah); mother, Gaynell Ainsworth; brother, Randy Ainsworth (Jill); grandchildren, Raidan Gable, Adrianna Gable and Natalie Kilgore
