Trace Jordan, formally of Magee, signed to play baseball with Meridian Community College.
Trace played high school ball for Sumrall High School. Max Preps Final 2015 National Small Schools Top 25 High School Baseball Rankings ranked Sumrall as #4.
Sumrall was the South runner up in 2016.
Trace pitches and plays first base.
Trace went to Sumrall in 9th grade. As a junior he led the team in batting, was pine belt sports player of the year and Hattiesburg American player of the year. he was selected as a top Junior and traveled to Oklahoma with team Mississippi and made the all tournament team. Trace was a member of the 2015 State 3A Championship Team. This year Trace made the 4A all star team pine belt all area team.
