Johnnie Marie Carter, 68, of Brandon, MS passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Crossgates River Oaks in Brandon , MS. She was born Sunday, May 15, 1949 in Belzoni, MS.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 15, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall. Visitation will be held from 12:00PM till service time at Colonial Chapel Funeral in Mendenhall. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall, MS. Burial will follow in Johns Cemetery, John, MS. Bro. Glen Pace will officiate. She is preceded in death by her Parents, John W Carter and Odessel L Carter; Brother, Charles F Carter; Sister, Sarah Katherine Carter.
Survivors include her Brother, William Grover Carter, Brandon; Sisters, Addie L Carter, Brandon and Emma M Greene (Marion), Petal; A host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nephews, and great-great nieces.
