Johnnie Marie Carter, 68, of Brandon, MS passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Crossgates River Oaks in Brandon , MS. She was born Sunday, May 15, 1949 in Belzoni, MS.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 15, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall. Visitation will be held from 12:00PM till service time at Colonial Chapel Funeral in Mendenhall. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall, MS. Burial will follow in Johns Cemetery, John, MS. Bro. Glen Pace will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601)847-4401
She is preceded in death by her Parents, John W Carter and Odessel L Carter; Brother, Charles F Carter; Sister, Sarah Katherine Carter.
Survivors include her Brother, William Grover Carter, Brandon; Sisters, Addie L Carter, Brandon and Emma M Greene (Marion), Petal; A host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nephews, and great-great nieces.
