John David Easterling (Dave), passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016, at Simpson General Hospital. He was born on December 21, 1945, to his parents, the late Archie Dewitt Easterling and Evelyn Lucille (Grubbs) Easterling.
Dave has owned and operated his own automotive repair business, Dave’s Paint and Body Shop for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Susan (Williamson) Easterling; sons, Davey Easterling (Lacey), Patrick Easterling (Heather); daughter, Lee Fontanille (Michael); brothers, Kenny Easterling, Johnny Easterling; sisters, Joyce Heritage, Janice Brustman, Lisa Gewecke; five grandchildren, Lauren Fontanille, Noah Fontanille, Gus Loftin, Davanee Easterling, Dallas Easterling and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded is death by his parents and grandchild, Peyton Easterling.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 13, 2016, at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall, MS. from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 14, 2016, at Tutor Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Sones will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Hwy 28, Mendenhall, MS.
Serving as pallbearers will be Rusty Shows, Jimbo Sullivan, Marvin Griffith, Jarred Arrington , Mark Sanford and Brock Wester.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
