Joann Thompson Smith, 75, of Mendenhall, Mississippi, passed from this life to her heavenly home on Sunday, August 11, 2019, at Simpson General Hospital in Mendenhall, Mississippi. She was born Tuesday, March 7, 1944.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 12, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Mendenhall.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Mendenhall. The burial will follow in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Earl Clark will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601) 847-4401

Rayborn, Amber Phillips and her husband Chase, Richard Rayborn and his wife Carlie; Great-grandchildren, Cole Rayborn, James Rayborn, Lucas Rayborn, Isaiah Rayborn, Nathan Rose, Shawn Phillips, Kemeron Phillips, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Preston Rayborn, Shane Rayborn, Richard Rayborn, Kenneth Thompson, and Josh Martin.
