 Jim Henry Johnson, 76 of Magee, MS passed away Saturday, July 1, 2023 at the Magee General Hospital in Magee, Mississippi. He was born Tuesday, June 17, 1947 in Mississippi.

  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home,302 8th Ave SW, Magee, MS. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 05, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, MS. Burial will follow in Waco-Fairmount Cemetery in Mize, MS.  Bro. Steve Pickering will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sabrina Gail Pitts; parents, Jim Curtis and Mattie Mae Johnson; two brothers; four sisters.

  Survivors include his wife, Sue  Tullos;  sons, Dennis Johnson, Billy Johnson (Teresa ), and Justin  King; seven grandchildren, Tamara  Johnson, Julia  Johnson, Jasmine  Ellington, Maimie  Brooks, Jim  Hall, Destiny  Pitts and Jessie  Pitts; sisters, Betty  Sue  Ferguson  (Anthony), Gloria  Wilcocks; eight  great-grandchildren; and a host of  nieces and nephews.

   Pallbearers will be Ronnie White, Anthony Jones, Joseph Jones, Daniel Cooley, Franklin Cooley, and John Blackwell.
