Mary Ruth Thompson Nichols, 77 of Magee, MS passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026 at her home. She was born December 16, 1948 in Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026 from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel of Magee. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Burial will follow in Thompson Cemetery. Bro. Cody Bruce will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements 601-849-5031.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Earl Thompson and Ruth Laventa Thompson; brothers, Billy Earl Thompson, William Thompson, and Billy Ray Thompson; sister, Lillie Reed.

Pallbearers will be Drew Runnels, Kyle Runnels, Ethan McMullan, Jack McMullan, Cody Greene, and Austin Thompson.
