James Wade Easterling, 81 of Raleigh, Mississippi passed away Friday, July 12, 2024 at the Jasper General Nursing Home in Bay Springs, Mississippi. He was born Sunday, January 3, 1943 in Raleigh, Mississippi

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2024 from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh. Burial will follow in Easterling Cemetery in Raleigh, MS. Bro. Reggie Chisholm and Bro. Dabney Bailey will officiate. Special music will be performed by Tommy Easterling and Marilyn Mount. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh is in charge of arrangements.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Wade Easterling and Helen Christine Bradshaw; brother, Clifton Autry Easterling; brother-in-law, Jerry Stuckey.

Survivors include his sons, James Wade Easterling , Jr. and Dylan Easterling; daughters, Todd Dwayne Easterling (Cora) and Susan Helms (Billy); grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Harold Ray Easterling (Joyce), Sherman Easterling, Tommy Easterling (Brenda); sisters, Gracie Weaver (George), Joyce Stuckey, Judy Batte (Larry) and Marilyn Mount; and a host of nieces and nephews and extended family.

Pallbearers; Steven Weaver, Richard Weaver, Gary Easterling, David Easterling, Hurston Hegwood, and Andrew Batte.
