James Cook, 71, of Jackson, passed from this life Monday, October 3, 2016 at home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 7, 2016 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Katherine Cook will officiate. Burial will be in Mendenhall City Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements, (601)847-4401.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016 from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall.
Mr. Cook is survived by wife, Linda Cook of Jackson; daughters, Teresa Wilborn (Donnie) of Jackson; Janada Cook (Quita) and Marissa Cook; sons, James D Cook (John) of Jackson and Joseph Cook of Jackson; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Cook is preceded in death by parents, Martin Cook, and Rommie Cook; sister, Laura Grey; brother ,Levon Cook
