James Michael Dukes, 58, of Magee, passed away from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Colonial Chapel

Funeral Home in Magee. Burial will be at a later date. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

He was preceded in death by parents, Mims Dukes and Lounette Jones; brother, Jerry Dukes.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Dukes of Magee; two sons, Derek and Patrick Dukes both of Magee; one daughter, Michaela Dukes Guy (John Guy) of Magee; three grandchildren, Maria Pennington (Dawson) of Mize, Alana Guy of Magee, and Brooklyn Dukes of Magee; two sisters, Jurita Smith (Pee wee) of Texas and Cindy Carter (James) of Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
