Price Wallace, general manager of River Birch Farms, has announced he is running for House of Representative District 77…the seat formally held by Andy Gipson. Wallace, a Republican, informed me April 4, 2018 of his intentions.

Although the qualifying period has not been announced, Price is putting his name before the voters.

The Governor will set the date of the election and qualifying time within the next month. The Governor has 30 days following a seat vacancy to announce the election date. Andy Gipson gave up his position on April 1st and was sworn in as the new Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce on Monday, April 2nd.
