Irma L Walters, 82 of Taylorsville, MS passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She was born Tuesday, February 25, 1941 in Mississippi.

  Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 113 Front Street, Taylorsville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Fellowship Cemetery in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Bro. Brain Means will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. 601-785-6564

  She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother

  She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wendell Walters; father, Howard Wayne Gray; mother, Doris Yarber Vandiver.

  Survivors include her daughters, Tracey  Walters Stewart of Taylorsville, MS and Robbie Walters  Martin  (Greg) of College Station, TX;  grandchildren, Carrie Rhodes Muha (Andy), Casey  Lea Rhodes, Taylor Rhodes (Cassie) and Alex Rhodes; great grandchildren, Drew Muha, Kynlea Runnels, River Rhodes;  sister, Linda  Gray Rawls
