By James Davis
The Scriptural passages chosen for today is found in Ezekiel 18:21: “If a wicked man turns away from all the sins he has committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, he will surely live; he will not die.” The prophet here delivers the very Words of God to the people, telling them that if they will but renounce their sinfulness by turning from their wicked ways and follow God’s laws, He will forgive them, and they will experience life everlasting with Him and His angels in Heaven. We all will die a physical death unless we are alive when the Lord comes again. It is the spiritual death we do not wish to experience. It means eternal separation from God and everlasting punishment with the devil and his angels. Which do we choose? The same decision which faced those during Ezekiel’s day is ours to make today. Do not put it off. Don’t delay. Take care of this all-important business.
Happy Tuesday! Be sure to share the joy of the Lord with others as you go about your day
