The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in Romans 12:1: “I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God–this is your spiritual act of worship.” The Word of God for the people of God; thanks be to God. We, as God’s children, are to strive to keep our bodies pure and clean as were animals selected and offered up to God before Jesus became the sacrificial lamb for the sins of the world. Our bodies are temples of the Lord and should be treated as living sacrifices, acceptable and holy before God.
We know what we’re to do on a daily basis: let’s be sure to share the love, joy, and kindness with all with whom we come in contact. God expects it of us. Let us not be found wanting in the eyes of Jesus. Amen!
