By James Davis
The Scriptural passage selected for this morning is found in Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Him, Who gives me strength.”
The apostle exclaims to the early Christians that he can do nothing through his own strength and will. No, it is only through Christ Jesus that he is able to press on and carry out the work the Lord had entrusted him to do. It is the same with each of us who claim Jesus as our Lord and Savior. On our own, we are helpless and without worth. With God, however, we can stand tall and walk boldly on life’s journey with full knowledge that He’ll never leave us or forsake us.
Happy Sunday! Let’s band together this morning with others of like faith as we worship the Lord and sing His praises. If we’re Providentially hindered, there are many religious services available on television and radio. Avail yourself of one of those.
